It’s been quite some time (about a month) since I have posted. The reason for that is simple, I have had other things on my mind, and even though there were many times I thought I better post something, I just didn’t give it the time needed! So let me tell you about my project last month.
For many years I have had a nice size room where I was able to store all of my yarn, fabric, and other crafty things. I worked in this room, but I always thought that one day I would do a makeover. FINALLY it happened and I am so glad that it did! I wanted something with a lot of color, flair, and enough space for my computer to make it into the space as well – that all happened and now I am going to share it with you through pictures 🙂 I also want to say that I found my inspiration from many different sources, including Pinterest, but mostly I just google searched if I had an idea and wanted confirmation on how to handle it. So without further ado, here are the pictures of what I now am happy to call my workspace/office!!
So the elements that I love the most are the new way that I am storing my cotton fabric(on photo boards), my chalkboard for inspiration by my desk, the chevron wall which is a nice blast of color, my yarn in plastic file bins that are hung by hooks so I can easily take them up and down to “play” in them, my thread holder and finally my buttons are all organized by color.
So, I guess that’s it! It’s fun to reorganize and freshen up a space, but it’s even more fun to USE it!
TIME TO GET SEWING!!
With crafty love,
